1. If you are DPS and pull agro, you aren't OP, you're BAD at DPS. You need to assess your tank's ability and make sure you don't pull agro. When you pull agro and die… you DPS drops to 0, so that amazing rotation you have means nothing at that point.
2. If you pull agro… run straight to the tank! Don't Kite unless the tank is dead. There is nothing more frustrating than a DPS running in circles yelling "Get this off me" but continuously moves the mob out of range. Paladin for example, has only one high enmity producing ranged move which is provoke. And if this is on cool down, then he or she is gonna need to get in closer which will be difficult if the mob is moving.</p>
3. Pulling Agro doesn't always get you killed, but if its a big fight, and your Healers need to make their MP last as long as possible… you're ruining that with needless heals to someone that shouldn't be taking damage in the first place.
4. As a tank, if you need some time to build agro on a bigger group, communicate this.
5. As a tank, you need to understand the other classes in your group and what CC abilities they have at their disposal. Don't try to tank 6 mobs at once when you have a Sleep in the group.
6. As a tank, use marks, if people dont understand 1, 2, 3… kick them.
7. As DPS, follow marks, and DON'T attack CC targets until everything else is dead.
8. Healers, if you find yourself doing nothing, either because there is a lot of damage mitigation, or the 2nd healer seems to be doing most of the work… DPS (unless its a raid and you're conserving MP). Most lower level dungeons wont drain your MP each fight, you can afford to throw out a few DOTs.
